Overview Location: Naval Medical Center Portsmouth - OB/GYN Outpatient Clinics Hours of Performance: Services shall be provided Monday through Friday between 0700 and 1800 for forty (40) hours per week. Pay: $26.26/hr, Health & Wellness $5.09*/hr worked (in lieu of benefits) Benefits: Vest vacation, sick leave, holiday leave, Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Short Term Disability Optional Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(K) matching with employee participation in 401(K) plan Responsibilities: - Render nursing care to patients within assigned clinic. - Formulate, document, and implement a nursing care plan for assigned patients and review and update them as required in concert with the Registered Nurse (RN). - Successfully complete the NMCP in-service for intravenous (IV) therapy. - Ensure patient care is carried out in accordance with the Standards of Nursing Care and the policies and procedures of the clinic. - Check patients into the clinic and triage using clinic guidelines.
