Product Quality Engineer, Hardware, Google Cloud

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience. - Certified Reliability/Quality Engineer (CRE/CQE) certification or equivalent experience. - 5 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, product engineering of cloud hardware technology or electronic hardware systems. - Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in electrical, mechanical, industrial, materials or other relevant engineering field. - Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams using a practical and solution-oriented approach. - Experience with manufacturing and field issue debug, root cause analysis and corrective actions. - Experience with advanced statistical (or statistics based) methodologies (e.g., design of experiments, statistical process controls, six sigma etc.). - Experience in technical leadership, project management, and executive communication.
