Financial Analyst

Job description

The Financial Analyst will assist with the gathering and analysis of financial information based on cost, price, and expenses. They will develop basic analysis of economic indicators to understand market behavior and emerging trends and assist in the monthly analysis of financial results. This position is not eligible for sponsorship or relocation. How you will do it: Responsible for the maintenance, and/or creation and issuance of payroll reports. Prepares and analyzes monthly closing reports and journal entries, payroll, raw material usage and variance reports. Analyzes and explains deviations. Recommends corrective action to ensure favorable plant budget performance. Outlooks plant expenses, material and labor cost monthly. Audits plant operating practices versus standard operating procedures and company policies and takes necessary actions to ensure compliance. Coordinates and assists staff in quarterly review. Directs monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory. Explains book to physical differences and establishes procedures to eliminate inventory variances.
