Casual On Call - No Guaranteed Hours "Job description and salary are currently under review." (PIPSC Bargaining Unit) Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Informatics, the incumbent is responsible for developing, coordinating and providing educational tools, classes, and programs to maintain and improve competencies of the Health Care Information Systems (HCIS) used by Clinical Operations at Yukon Hospital Corporation. The incumbent, in collaboration with Directors of Nursing, Operations Leads of Dawson City and Watson Lake Community Hospitals, Clinical Care Managers, and Clinical Nurse Educators is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of patient care within the HCIS. The incumbent, in collaboration with the People, Culture and Services Department, and the Chief of Staff office, is also responsible for facilitating the onboarding and access of new employees, students, and locums to the HCIS’s used at the hospitals by nurses and physicians.
