Job description

The Forklift Operator works in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with changing priorities throughout the day. The primary responsibilities of this role include the moving and storing of materials based on production work orders. Essential Functions: The following is a list of specific duties which are considered the essential functions of this job. The list is not exhaustive, as all positions at the Company are dynamic. The employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any/all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list. Requirements: - Collects and delivers raw materials, semi-finished and finished products. - Rotates stock, loads and unloads skids and bands material before moving product. - Identifies material to ensure that correct material is supplied. - Moves and stores materials and keep assigned areas supplied with material. - Works from schedules, production orders and instructions. - Clears and moves scrap. - Assists in other departments and works on the lines as necessary. - Maintains fork lift truck by placing on charge and notifying supervision when truck is not operating properly. - Complete...
