Insemination Operator Full Time – Hourly: At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. The base hiring pay for this role is $25.40 per hour. PURPOSE: Perform daily breeder flock service activities associated with handling select, healthy breeder hens and toms, and department equipment as outlined and described in department operating manuals. Help coworkers in the areas of cost control, productivity, and safety by providing personal involvement in insemination area management, operating decisions, and problem solving. - Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa. - Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. - Must be 18 years of age or older PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: As trained and assigned through job rotation program, catch and hold mature breeder hens off the end of a short conveyor during breeder services.
