MRP & Supply Planner - Film/Materials

Job description

The MRP & Supply Planner – Film/Materials partners closely with Procurement, Customer Service, and the Sales Business Unit to ensure optimal inventory availability and replenishment of film materials. This role is responsible for developing and executing effective stocking and replenishment strategies that balance customer demand, forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and obsolescence risk. The position supports internal and external customers through data-driven, flexible, and efficient supply planning solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - · Maintain and further develop Multivac’s Materials Inventory Management Tool to provide visibility of inventory levels by material number, location, and customer demand· Partner with internal stakeholders to assess inventory needs against forecasts provided by the Materials Field Sales team· Manage stocking strategies across multiple warehouses, storage locations, and competing demand sources· Collaborate with internal teams to determine which film materials should be stocked and in what quantities· Analyze historical sales and customer data and combine it with future demand expectations to create accurate and reliable forecasts· E...
