Salary/Position Classification: - $62,000+ dependent on experience, 9-month contract, Exempt - 40 hours per week - This position requires an in person, on campus presence Purpose of Position: The mission of UND's College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines (CNPD) is to provide excellent and collaborative education, scholarship, and service to advance human well-being for all, with an emphasis on rural and underserved populations. The CNPD is comprised of three departments: Nursing, Nutrition & Dietetics, and Social Work. The department of Social Work is seeking a full-time (9-month) tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant Professor rank. This individual will contribute to a productive and collegial academic team and will develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with students. The faculty member will have a principal assignment to the MSW program and will teach in the generalist curriculum and advanced generalist specialization. Teaching assignments may also include other areas of the MSW program and/or the BSSW program depending on enrollment and the needs of the department.
