Description The Freeman School of Business at Tulane University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure system faculty position in Accounting. The appointment — at the rank of Professor of Practice — may be for one, two, or three years, beginning July 1, 2026. Salary, teaching load, and benefits are competitive with other major research institutions. Hiring for this position is subject to final budgetary approval by the University. We seek an energetic, motivating professor with deep knowledge and classroom experience across the accounting curriculum. Prior experience teaching Auditing and Advanced Financial Accounting is highly valued. Professors of Practice at the Freeman School deliver rigorous undergraduate and graduate courses, often with an experiential learning focus, and are expected to remain active in their fields through professional and scholarly activities. Service to the Freeman School and Tulane University is also expected.
