Job description
Merchants Bank, Winona, is seeking a Corporate Trainer to join our team. This position is responsible for coordinating and delivering high quality programs that support the bank’s strategic goals. Duties including coordinating and facilitating culture focused and technical training through in person and virtual learning experiences. Also involves developing and maintaining training materials, manuals, e-learning modules, job aids, and resource guides. Will collaborate with the Training Director and risk/compliance teams to assign compliance and product knowledge courses. Duties also include coordinating onboarding training for new and transferring employees. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, Communication, or related field required/preferred. Experience in corporate training, preferably within the banking or financial services industry preferred. Must have excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and have knowledge in virtual training platforms.
