Organization: ABSMC-Summit Campus Position Overview: This position is one of performing Respiratory Therapy modalities in a progressive health care environment. On a day-to-day basis, the therapist will often have to perform technical procedures on complex life support systems, and make on the spot decisions that affect patient care In a wide variety of settings from neonatal to geriatric. The therapist also has the responsibility for assuring that all prescribed therapy is performed with quality. Job Description: EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma: Other: Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: RCP-Respiratory Care Practitioner: BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider: Active membership in the A.A.RC. (American Association for Respiratory Care) recommended. Active membership in the C.S.R.C. (California Society for Respiratory Care) recommended License or Certification.
