Description What You’ll Do: As the MQ-4C Ground Station Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the operational readiness and technical integrity of ground station facilities. This is a part-time position that will be based out of NAS Patuxent River, MD. Remote/hybrid work may be considered. Some on site presence at NAS Patuxent River, MD may be required. This description outlines the general nature and scope of the role. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. - Performing mechanical and electrical logistics and engineering reviews of trailer- and building-based ground station designs, drawings, updates, and Engineering Change Proposals, ensuring compliance with military and commercial standards. - Conducting engineering and logistics analysis of ground station electrical and thermal loads, and manage facility plans, methods, and best practices to optimize performance and safety. - Traveling to conduct site surveys at deployed locations both within the U.S. (CONUS) and abroad (OCONUS) (on occasion).
