Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience - 2 years of industry or academic research experience in an engineering or physics field - 1 year of experience calibrating and operating quantum systems - 1 year of programming experience Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP) - Experience developing software in a collaborative environment - Experience working with Python - Experience calibrating and debugging experimental quantum hardware - Experience with superconducting qubit experiment Experience working with Python: About the job The Quantum Calibration team supports the calibration and characterization of our superconducting processors through research and engineering towards robust automation of qubit characterization and high fidelity gate calibration.
