Position Overview: - Department : Respiratory - Schedule : 6:30am to 7:00pm as needed including weekends - Work Location : UAB St Vincent's Birmingham - Benefits for eligible positions only include : generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Provide evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies consistent with student scope of practice. - Administer medications and treatments based on patient outcomes, under appropriate supervision. - Deliver and assess patient response to ordered therapy. - Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition. - Provide patient education for diseases, medications, and treatment. What You Will Need: Education: - BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. - High school diploma equivalency AND Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline.
