Transportation Coordinator

Job description

We are looking to hire an exceptionally passionate, multitasking and detail-oriented individual that is self-motivated and experienced in supporting a transportation team with daily administrative tasks. Requirements: - Maintain inter-departmental communication between our plant operations, sales, and field operations teams - Using Nextraq, logs and other documents, track and monitor driver activity. i.e. excessive stop times, excessive idling, excessive speeding, etc. - Work with administration and production staff to ensure accurate and efficient creation of manifest - Co-ordinate scheduled vehicle servicing and rectification of equipment issues to improve vehicle performance as required - Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with roadworthiness, vehicle cleanliness and appropriate driver operation - Prepare and print memorandums for effective driver communication - Maintain Key Performance Indicators measures.
