Description The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for one full-time, tenure-track assistant professor position with a 9-month academic appointment with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2027. We are interested in recruiting talented researchers in the field of spinal cord injury research. The successful candidate will bring a robust research program that couples in vivo behavioral/physiological work with cutting-edge tools in neuroscience. The successful candidate will complement the department's exisiting strengths in topic areas such as neural plasticity, imaging, neural-engineering applications, psychological adjustment, and rehabilitation. This position represents the second phase of a growth initiative in the area supported by TIRR Foundation to increase the breadth and impact of spinal cord injury research at Texas A&M University.
