Department: 38590 API West Allis: Store 1060 - Retail Pharmacy Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Every other weekend, Saturdays 9 am - 2pm. Availability to work every Saturday if desired. Availability during the week 8 am - 6pm Monday - Friday per schedule needs Pay Range: $25.00 - $25.00 Major Responsibilities: Under general supervision of a pharmacist, performs duties of a pharmacy technician such as: filling medication orders, delivering medications, compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations, interviewing patients to obtain medication histories, etc. Provides pharmacy services to the patient care areas and customers by performing clerical duties in the pharmacy to ensure efficient operations and performs duties related to medication ordering, receipt, stocking, and inventory control. Receives and interprets prescriptions for outpatient s and enters them into the pharmacy computer system. Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships, and team building.
