About Summer Foundation Summer Foundation works to improve housing and living outcomes for Australians with disability who require access to 24/7 support. More than 40,000 people with disability with high support needs still face limited housing and support options, often resulting in poor outcomes and lack of choice. We work to change this by identifying, developing and scaling practical, evidence-based solutions. Working alongside partners, we combine research, lived experience and collaboration to design solutions that improve how people live and are supported. Since 2006, we’ve helped more than 7,500 young people with disability avoid living in residential aged care, showing what’s possible when better solutions are delivered.
