Facilities Assistant

Job description

Position Summary OPEX Corporation is seeking to fill a full time Facilities Assistant to support daily facility operations and infrastructure projects across offices, warehouse and manufacturing environments. This role will be responsible for various hands-on tasks including, but not limited to: basic construction tasks, equipment maintenance, site preparations, materials handling and staging, and direct support to team members. This position is a 40 hour work week with full benefits. Candidates must be reliable, detail oriented, have a strong desire to learn new skills and able to work independently and as part of a team. Essential Responsibilities: - Perform general site cleanup (i.e. trash removal, sweeping, debris hauling) - Assist with loading/unloading and relocating equipment, furniture, and materials - Pick up and transport materials and supplies from local vendors as needed - Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively - Basic parking lot maintenance tasks - Collaborate with other skilled trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) as directed - Complete general maintenance tasks and respond to facilities service requests - Other duties as assigned Qualifications: - High s...
