Description The Radiology Department at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an experienced candidate who will be appointed as the Director of Research, directly reporting to the Vice Chair of Research. As such, this individual will act in alignment with the Vice Chair’s priorities and interests and the mission and vision of the Department of Radiology. The Department supports basic research in Radiology that is inherently interdisciplinary and technologically oriented. Development of new imaging technologies for application to translational research and clinical radiology is an important component of the research program. Faculty members have many opportunities to develop research interests in collaboration with clinical and basic science departments throughout the campus. Strong collaborations with imaging vendors enrich discovery opportunities. Administrative, biostatistical and logistical support are provided.
