Position Overview & Responsibilities Miller Lab is currently hiring for a Research Technician who will design, perform and analyze complex research experiments. Responsibilities include: - Organizing, interpreting, and communicating data to supervisor and co-workers. - Modifying protocols to improve processes. - Documenting work appropriately. - Troubleshooting problems in lab. - Collaborating, building constructive relationships, and effectively communicating with other members of the lab. - Working independently, but seeking assistance when needed. - Operating highly specialized equipment requiring moderate to high degree of skill. - Expected to perform more advanced techniques after appropriate training. - May provide guidance to research staff, graduate students, and post docs. Minimum Qualifications: Candidates are required to have Bachelor’s degree typically in one of the biological sciences and/or equivalent years of relevant laboratory experience. Should be familiar with basic biochemistry or molecular biology lab techniques. Ability to work well with others is essential.
