Job description

At Atom Computing, we build quantum computers using arrays of optically trapped neutral atoms that will empower customers to achieve unprecedented computational breakthroughs. Join a world-class team of scientists, engineers, and business professionals to advance the state-of-the-art in quantum computing. We are seeking a hands-on Microfabrication Engineer to execute cleanroom operations for novel optoelectronic devices that will power our next-generation quantum computers. Operating primarily out of the COSINC cleanroom at CU Boulder, you will work closely with our Senior Microfabrication Engineer to turn device architectures into physical prototypes by running daily fabrication processes, executing precise metrology, and documenting process parameters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Job Responsibilities: - Cleanroom Operations: Execute daily fabrication steps including thin-film deposition, photolithography, wet/dry etching, and metal lift-off to create novel optoelectronic devices. - Metrology & Characterization: Run standard metrology (e.g., profilometry, ellipsometry, microscopy) to characterize film thickness, stress, and etch rates, ensuring process stability. -...
