System Engineer II

Job description

Responsible for the design and management of complex systems over the lifecycle. Creates IT processes and performs analysis to identify opportunities for enhancement, creating scripts to automate internal workflows. Provides technical expertise in solving system-wide issues and recommends alternatives for solutions. Supports all aspects of development, integration, and testing processes such as lifecycle cost analysis, design, schedules, and feasibility studies. - Provides technical expertise and analytical support to the users in solving system-wide issues with ongoing support within multiple disciplines including system infrastructure operations of administration, analysis, engineering, and design. - Designs and develops reusable components, code and document custom automation frameworks, maintains scripts, and updates as needed to build continuous delivery pipelines, ensuring rapid availability of the product. - Provides technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to support and enhance existing systems. - Recommends new or improved design solutions and processes; reviews literature, patents and current industry practices of rele...
