Introduction to the job: In our high-tech small production runs, single part and prototype production, you will support us in the high-precision manufacture of optical components, assemblies and systems made of glass, glass ceramics and ceramics. You work close to manufacturing and to the equipment , apply a data ‑ driven approach , and collaborate closely with manufacturing , engineering , and development . Clear process responsibility , technical understanding , and continuous improvement define the daily work within the team . Role and responsibilities: As a Process Engineer, you take technical responsibility for defined laser structuring processes or subprocesses in series production . Your role is focused on process stability , continuous improvement , and the reliable transfer of technologies into manufacturing . Specifically , this means : You independently manage an assigned laser structuring process or subprocess within defined frameworks . You support additional processes or subprocesses together with senior Process Engineers or your line manager . You monitor defined processes using Six Sigma and Lean methods (e.g. SPC).
