Associate Director - Healthy Living Department: Center Staff: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: North Suburban YMCA: Reporting To: Derek Bye: Compensation: $50,000.00 - $57,000.00 / hour Description: Under the supervision of the Healthy Living Director, the Associate Healthy Living Director’s primary responsibility is to drive a transformative and engaging experience in health and wellness at the center. The Associate Healthy Living Director will have an explicit focus on engaging with members through/but not limited to the fitness centers, group exercise, personal training and/or community and specialty health classes. This position, under the direction of the Healthy Living Director, will require supervision of group exercise department and community health programs. The position workflow will be determined by the individual centers’ needs. However, it is recommended this position work up to 75% of time working with members and in direct service. This position will work collaboratively with the Healthy Living & Associate Executive Director, accepting coaching, mentoring and consultation from them.
