Job description

The Student Experience Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, developing, and supporting student workers across all Broadcast teams, including in venue live production, control room operations, field production for live broadcasts, content creation (video, photo, and design), and engineering roles. This position serves as the primary liaison between students, Broadcast leadership, and crewers, ensuring students receive a high quality, growth oriented experience that aligns with departmental needs. The Coordinator manages the full life cycle of the student experience—outreach, recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, scheduling oversight, feedback collection, and sustained development. This role also monitors student progress, advocates for student placement on productions, and ensures students gain exposure to a wide range of opportunities across Broadcast. Flexibility to work nights and weekends is essential, along with strong relationship building skills and the ability to foster a collaborative, student focused environment.
