Job description

Job Summary The Patient Sitter responsibilities include supervising patients, alerting nurses and other healthcare professionals when needed, and providing emotional support to patients. The Patient Sitter will work directly with patients who are at risk of hurting themselves or those around them. Job Requirements: Minimum Education: - GED or High School Diploma required or current high school student in pursuit of GED to be obtained within one calendar year - Current CPR certification is required. Work Experience: - No work experience required - Must be emotionally mature and able to function under stress.
