About Us The Research Finance Department at Albert Einstein College of Medicine is responsible for monitoring all Sponsored Funds activity. The Department assists with establishing fund numbers in our Banner financial system. We monitor and report expenditures to our sponsoring agency as indicated in the agreement documentation. Effort certifications are coordinated and tracked in our office and as well as other compliance areas such as cost transfers, unallowable costs, sub recipient monitoring, closing out of sponsored grants, etc. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The Compliance Financial Analyst partners with the Principal Investigator (PI), Department Administrator (DA) and Finance Management in order to ensure that sponsored project activity is meeting Institutional goals and requirements. S/he and reports directly to the Compliance Assistant Manager of Research Finance. Responsibilities: - Reviews and approves Labor Redistribution (LRD) Cost Transfers and/or makes adjustment recommendations to Department Administrators or PI’s - Reviews and approves OTPS cost transfers - Proactively alerts Principal Investigator, Administrator and Budget Office of pending LRD’s that require revisio...
