Description Do you love sports, Legos, art, cooking, and want to share that joy with the next generation? Do you want to make a positive impact in the lives of youth? Do you like to lead small group activities? Become a Day Camp Counselor for Sherwood Regional Family YMCA! Why You Should Apply?: - Free Household Gym Membership - Free Pool Access - Paid Sick Leave - Opportunities for Growth/Leadership - Build your resume - Positive, fun work environment - Make a difference in the life of a child - Weekends off - Wages range $17.55 - $18.00 What would you be doing?: - Provide safe environment for elementary and pre-school age children - Implement curriculum for a variety of enrichment (STEM, Cooking, Art, etc.) and sports camps - Establish good rapport with parents and children - Keep accurate rosters and records of attendance. - Being a positive role model for youth in day camps - Transport equipment to and from camp sites - Reliably attend day camps in various locations (Sherwood, Tigard, West Linn, Wilsonville) camp hours 9:00-3:00, or Noon-3:00.
