Job type: Full Time Shift: Days: Hours: Position Summary: Reporting to the Nursing Director, this position supports the unit by coordinating communications, performing order entry functions, maintaining files, providing clerical support, and monitoring cardiac rhythms at central station. 1. Applies the principles of the SRRMC mission statement. 2. Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to all applicable professional/regulatory practices, state/federal regulations and SRRMC policies and procedures. 3. Protects hospital resources through appropriate and careful use of supplies and equipment. 4. Performs routine clerical duties accurately and according to written policies and procedures and standards of care including, but not limited to: (1) admissions, transfers, discharges, and deaths, (2) managing phone calls appropriately and recording/communicating messages accurately in a timely manner, (3) maintaining all required reports, department-specific records, and (4) entering all charges. 5.
