Job Description: The Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (KansasCOM), one of the nation’s newest medical schools, located in downtown Wichita, Kansas, invites applications for a faculty appointment in the Department of Integrated Biomedical Sciences. Qualified applicants with experience in teaching medical students and dedicated to teaching anatomy to medical students are sought for an open rank faculty position. This position has no associated clinical duties. The College’s mission is “to train the osteopathic physician of the future to provide effective, empathic, and innovative care to optimize the health of patients and their communities.” This includes the goal of expanding health education and healthcare by increasing the number of physicians trained in Kansas, with particular focus on serving the widely distributed communities of rural Kansas, and beyond. KansasCOM’s inaugural class of students (Class of 2026) matriculated in August, 2022.
