Description SUMMARY: Co-teach a class of 20 students all subject areas in a self contained setting, emphasizing social-emotional development and leadership growth. This is a full-time, 10-month, exempt position. This is a full-time, 10-month, exempt position. Some evening and weekend work is required. RESPONSIBILITIES: The school seeks and outstanding educator for Primer Teacher whose duties comprise: - Partnering with another teacher to be jointly responsible for a homeroom of 20 students. - Teaching Literacy, Math, Science, Social Studies, SEL, and Leadership in an integrated curriculum. - Participating in lunch duty and after school carpool duty. - Writing progress reports on all students three times per year; co-leading scheduled parent teacher conferences four times per year. - Attending divisional and departmental meetings, participating in professional development activities, observing/being observed by colleagues/administration and giving/receiving feedback. - Collaborating with a teacher partner to continuously develop a strong social-emotional learning and leadership curriculum.
