Job Summary APTIM is seeking an experienced Lead Radiological Control Technician (Lead RCT) to provide senior‑level radiological control oversight and delegated radiation protection program support for Department of Energy (DOE) Decontamination, Decommissioning, and Remediation (DD&R) field operations at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) – Knolls Laboratory in Niskayuna, New York, and the Kesselring Site in West Milton, New York. Project scope includes soil remediation, demolition of support facilities (e.g., Kesselring Site Southeast Quad), and demolition of research reactor facilities (e.g., Knolls Laboratory F‑Complex), requiring disciplined radiological control in complex legacy environments. The Lead RCT serves as the senior field representative of Radiological Control supervision and management, providing technical direction and coordination of radiological field activities in support of DOE DD&R operations.
