Overview ECE Teacher Assistant Location/Dept.: The Salvation Army Kroc Center - Philadelphia, PAAvailability: ImmediateSchedule: Part Time (up to 29 hours per week)Reporting Relationship: ECEC Supervisor/ECEC DirectorSalary: $15.60 per hour Responsibilities: The Early Childhood Education Center Teacher’s Assistant (ECECTA) will provide extra assistance to plan, implement and assess the long term success of the ECEC children. The Teacher’s Assistant will utilize the curriculum collaboratively as a foundation for lesson planning and assure there is healthy and safe environment for the children and families served. The Teacher’s Assistant will engage in positive and professional parent/child/staff relationships. This position is required to will keep records and complete reports which ensure the standards of excellence are maintained. They will participate and maintain professional development and attend staff training. Perform related duties as assigned.
