Mechanics Bank is currently searching for a Quality Control Specialist - HMDA to join our team. The Quality Assurance and HMDA Specialist is responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) by accurately collecting, recording, and reporting mortgage loan data as first line of defense. Primarily responsible for ensuring loans meet criteria, determining any issues, and bringing the company into compliance. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure data accuracy and completeness, data entry in HMDA Wiz, as well as preparing and submitting HMDA reports to Compliance, Line of Business or other appropriate departments. Job duties are not limited to these responsibilities and may include other tasks as needed.
