Payroll Supervisor

Job description

Job Summary: Responsible for managing the payroll function and team, supporting corporate compliance processes, and establishing/enhancing efficient, automated, payroll processes. Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills): - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferably in an Accounting related field - Five years of experience in accounting/ finance/payroll - Five years of experience in payroll/HR related functions - Five years of supervisory experience - General knowledge of GAAP, Finance and accounting theories - Proficient in MS Excel - ERP and business software experience - Broad experience within Payroll, including garnishments, multi-state taxing, withholding requirements - General experience with HR related transactions including benefits, bonus, and wage changes - Experience with certified payroll, desired - Understands payroll related general ledger accounts and associated reconciliations - Knowledge of key controls, practices and testing in relation to the internal control framework for payroll processes - Experience in developing process narratives and process flows - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply sol...
