The Senior Patient Services Specialist plays a vital role in supporting patient care and clinic coordination across multiple Swedish Cancer Institute campuses. This position provides comprehensive patient orientation and independently manages a broad range of complex clerical and administrative responsibilities in a fast‑paced clinical environment. Key responsibilities include scheduling new patient consultations, follow‑up clinic appointments, subsequent treatments, and requested diagnostic tests; obtaining insurance verifications, referrals, and authorizations; preparing and maintaining accurate patient medical records; reconciling billing issues; answering multiple phone lines; and appropriately triaging incoming calls. This role requires exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills related to patient care and clinic operations.
