The Poker Dealer Trainee is trained to create an entertainment environment for all guests. Provide courteous, friendly, and prompt service in dealing Poker. Knowledge of department policies and procedures, including those pertaining to Federal and Regulatory laws and guidelines. - Provides an upbeat personality for all interactions with guests and fellow employees. - Ability to be proactive in anticipating customer needs. - Ability to familiarize self with all guests to know names and personal facts. - Knowledge of money handling skills in providing chips for guests. - Knowledge of Poker. - Basic knowledge of other games and services offered at property. - High school diploma preferred. - Must be able to obtain Non-Key LA Gaming License and Responsible Vendor Certification. - Must possess strong money handling and documentation skills. - Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. - Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift. - Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
