Naval Architect The Opportunity: Research, design, develop, and test various types of surface vessels. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of more junior employees. You Have: 3+ years of experience with integration and testing of various vessel systems Experience with design and analysis of vessels, systems, or operations Experience in a shipyard, design or engineering firm , or vessel owner environment Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree in Engineering: Nice If You Have: Experience with shipbuilding and ship design, technical drawing reviews, vessel maintenance, repair, and overhaul, requirements analysis, DoD acquisition, CAD sof tware, and Naval Architecture sof tware Knowledge of ship systems, stability, repair or overhaul, operations, and testing Secret clearance: Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Ocean Engineering Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investi...
