ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and/or guidelines established by OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, ASTM, ANSI and other applicable regulatory agencies - Collaborate with department leadership to complete job hazard assessments and implement health and safety policies and procedures - Oversee and communicate industrial hygiene programs to relevant personnel, including developing and executing exposure monitoring plans - Implement controls to mitigate chemical and dust exposure hazards - Evaluate and implement machine guarding for complex and high-volume automated equipment - Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations - Design and deliver chemical-specific awareness training - Complete and maintain documented safety observatio...
