Prime Responsibilities and Major Factors in Evaluating Performance: 1.Develop economical and effective manufacturing methods for the production of a wide variety of investment castings. 2.Examine processes/methods to identify and eliminate waste. Responsible for cost reduction leadership relating to the process and for controlling the process portion of overall plant scrap. 3.Assure that sample programs are properly administered and deliveries met. 4.Assure that requited jobs are properly estimated and administered. 5.Supervise the process engineering staff in all activities related to the technical aspects of the mold storage, mold preheat, melting parameters and metallurgy. 6.Maintain departmental costs within budget. 7.Establish manufacturing methods and standards to meet customer and Company requirements. 8.Assists with New Product Introduction (NPI), including the initial process development, establishment of milestones, supervision of tool building, management of the development cycle and the communication of progress to customers as required. 9.Manage the establishment and maintenance of controls in the wax, shell and foundry departments to assure manufacturing processes are...
