POSITION SUMMARY: The Central Operating Room Efficiency Supervisor is a professional nurse who functions as a clinical supervisor and resource for staff. Primary responsibilities include supporting and optimizing clinical operation in the OR to ensure both efficiency and safety. This role combines clinical oversight with administrative responsibilities to maintain high-quality patient care and staff performance. This role works under the direction of the Clinical Flow Manager and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure readiness of equipment and materials, address emergent situations promptly and support ongoing staff development. This role also involves coordinating staffing needs, monitoring adherence to hospital protocols and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance OR performance.
