Job description
When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives. This position is per diem, with a variety of hours and shifts available. Under general supervision of the MRI Supervisor, and following established policies and procedures, safely operates the MRI scanner to produce images that assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury. Performs a wide variety of specific and specialized duties and procedures for emergency room and in/outpatients, in accordance with orders of physicians. The MRI Technologist provides technical and ancillary support to the department and must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate. The MRI Technologist is responsible for maintaining a safe MRI environment at all times. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and skill, and the ability to work in close cooperation with members of a team of physicians, nurses and other technical staff.
