Summary of Role: Supports Ireland supply needs by effective management of supplier base, cost management and timely deliveries. Performs tasks that add value to the product and finds sources that will outperform those sources that do not add value. Defines the lowest total cost supplier as opposed to the lowest price supplier. Adds a senior level perspective to Purchasing due to experience in the industry. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure safe work practices are being followed at all times, report any near misses immediately to the EHS Department. - Set goals to track KPI’s and measure results in accordance with the site’s vision and savings goals.
