Role: Veterinary Care Assistant Location: Scarsdale Vets, Stapenhill: Contract: Full-Time, Permanent: We are the largest provider of veterinary care in the East Midlands. The main hospital is based at Pride Park in Derby and is home to a busy first opinion practice, a multidisciplinary referral service and an out-of-hours service, taking your skills to different locations. You will join a friendly and supportive team of experienced Vets and nurses. The nursing team currently has 9 RVN’s across two sites. We are proud to offer outstanding care to pets and their owners in Staffordshire and surrounding areas. As well as having a central hospital with a referral centre and a dedicated night team, we have local practices such as Stapenhill and Hilton that are in the heart of the communities, offering first class care at a convenient location for pet owners. The modern equipment at our Stapenhill practice includes digital x-ray, ultrasound, and dental x-ray. The Stapenhill site has two operating theatres plus three consulting rooms, with a separate dedicated nurses consult room, allowing provision of an all-round service.
