Department: Status: Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Pay Range $24.10 - $36.15 Major Responsibilities: - Provides advanced life support (ALS) emergency medical care in accordance with established Emergency Medical Services (EMS) protocols, medical direction, and applicable federal, state, and organizational regulations. - Performs comprehensive patient assessments, including airway, breathing, circulation, neurological status, and vital signs, and initiates appropriate interventions within scope of practice. - Administers medications, performs advanced airway management, cardiac monitoring, defibrillation, and other ALS procedures as authorized by protocol and medical control. - Ensures safe patient handling, movement, and transport, utilizing proper body mechanics, equipment, and infection prevention practices. - Operates emergency vehicles in a safe, courteous, and compliant manner, adhering to organizational driving policies and applicable traffic laws during emergency and non-emergency responses. - Completes accurate, timely, and legible clinical documentation, including patient care reports, treatment records, charge capture,...
