Job Description The NYC Early Intervention Program serves children ages birth to three years with developmental delays and disabilities. The EI Systems Unit supports service authorization, delivery and payment by troubleshooting case management system issues, facilitating service authorizations, and ensuring payment to vendors. Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Administration and Data, the Director of EI Systems will oversee a unit of approximately 18 people that has two primary responsibilities: acting as a Help Desk for staff and providers in troubleshooting case problems in the EI Hub, the NYS DOH BEI online case management system; and authorizing, paying, and claiming for services. The Director will be an experienced manager of large teams who is able to develop and maintain morale, structure and accountability. The Director will have a professional, collaborative approach that balances achievement of unit goals with support to unit staff.
