SBH HEALTH SYSTEM BRONX, NEW YORK: JOB DESCRIPTION: DEPARTMENT: Psychiatry: POSITION TITLE: MCT Social Worker – Per Diem REPORTS TO: MCT Supervisor: DATE REVISED: 2/27/2025: NAME:______________________________ DATE:_______________________: PRINCIPAL MISSION: The MCT Social Worker provides support, services, and treatments necessary to provide integrated crisis response, crisis stabilization interventions and crisis prevention activities for the SBH Health System Department of Psychiatry’s Mobile Crisis Team (MCT). This role requires clinical and administrative expertise and ensures quality care for diverse populations throughout the Bronx County. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Promotes a safe, cooperative and professional health care environment to ensure optimum patient care (as per HR Policy 113c). 2. Adheres to all hospital policies, procedures, rules and regulations, including but not limited to, absenteeism, ETIME, cellular telephone usage, dress code and rules of conduct. 3.
