Mechanical Engineer (Urban Mining)

Job description

Your job In this role, you will work in the concept and basic engineering phases of new installations and upgrades, transforming ideas into robust mechanical designs. You will contribute to the development of mechanical equipment essential for metals and material recovery, including shaking tables, vibrating screens , magnetic drum separators, eddy‑current separators, trommel screens, conveyors (belt, screw, and chain), crushers, shredders and other size‑reduction systems, chutes, silos and mechanical support structures. You will also contribute in the development of our mineral separation plants and equipment. Responsibilities : Performing engineering calculations (equipment sizing, structural checks, throughput calculations). Selecting appropriate materials suited to abrasive, corrosive and high‑temperature environments. Preparing technical specifications for mechanical equipment and components. Creating and reviewing technical documentation, including datasheets, design reports and installation drawings. Collaborating with suppliers during design, procurement and manufacturing phases.
