Transport Associate JOB SUMMARY: This role is responsible for moving inbound and outbound loads efficiently while maintaining accurate records and inventory counts [i][/i] Responsibilities: *Performs Additional Responsibilities As Assigned* - Load and unload trailers - Maintain accurate inventory records with the help of R/F scanner and warehouse management systems - Confirm pallet and case counts against BOL (Bill of Lading) and/or PO (Purchase Order) Qualifications: education and/or experience: - High school diploma - Previous warehouse experience preferred - Forklift certification preferred knowledge, skills and abilities: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Ability to operate R/F scanner physical requirements: - Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 80 pounds for a sustained time (up to 2 hours) - Ability to frequently and repeatedly reach overhead, stoop, bend, and twist - Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods while operating power equipment - Ascend and descend stairs frequently - Ability to work in a warehouse environment (concrete floors, changing temperatures)
